The Café aims to provide locally sourced produce crafted into seasonally enticing meals and snacks wherever possible, we hope to encourage local suppliers and allotment holders to provide supplies that we can create a simple, tasty menu from.
With products that are not produced locally, such as tea and coffee these will be sourced through Fair Trade and with ethical consumption principles.
We aim to travel no more than a twenty mile radius from Rochdale Borough so that we also reduce the environmental impact of food miles, utilising public transport where practicable. This is the aim with all the items used in the Café, from cleaning products to furniture.
If you are interested in volunteering to work in the Café then please let us know and we will aim to provide the appropriate training that is needed for a clean, safe food premises.
